Combine this unique cone with a sold cast aluminum basket and hold it there with an injection-molded, variable thickness surround with a unique groove locking system, and you've got musical accuracy which has never been experienced in a vehicle before. Inside is a motor structure like no other. The T-cut pole piece includes a copper shorting ring that provides high thermal efficiency, smooth frequency response, and seriously reduces harmonic distortion. The voice coil consists of lightweight, copper-clad aluminum ribbon wire that creates a super-intense magnetic field due to its high winding density. That makes for higher efficiency and power handling as well. Includes grilles.
